Anyone used ChatGPT for technical writing help?
I've used it a few times to get ideas, but definitely not to the point where you can copy and paste a procedure from ChatGPT:

Google Bard is another AI tool I've used to get some assistance on technical writing:

I've been using either of these a few times each week. it's helpful to get started with writing, even technical writing. You always have to review what it provides you, but it can be a big help!! If you pay for OpenAI (ChatGPT), there are beta APIs that are very interesting.

Not for technical writing, but I've used it to give me ideas. For example, "Create 5 workplace injury scenarios with varying degrees of detail in each description." for injury investigation activities in my supervisor training classes. I also used it to create a toolbox talk calendar and the talks themselves (I have to proofread those of course). I also asked it to make some employee engagement ideas and it did a pretty solid job!

I use it all of the time...try this prompt: Please create a two column table. The first column should be titled "requirements" and contain all of the "shall statements" from OSHA 1910.95 The second column should be titled "observed?" and be blank
It'll basically create a simple audit checklist. Sometimes it will get lazy and give you a sample of requirements instead of all of them. You just have to argue with it a little bit...It's like having a 23 year old employee.
