Professional Liability Insurance
Does anyone carry Professional Insurance? I am currently researching the topic. Any information that people can share would be helpful.

Looking to get into consulting? I don't have any experience with it, but i'm sure someone here does.
I don't currently, as my current consulting is covered by my Employer's Professional Errors & Omissions policy; however, I have in the past. I believe it was through Liberty Mutual. What kind of information are you looking for? A quote would depend on your industry, your area, the number of years you have in the field, the risk assessment of the underwriter, etc., so it's not across the board. You would have to contact an agent to get a quote.
Thank you for the information. I will contact Liberty Mutal for more information. However, I am in the early stages of opening my own safety consulting business, so there with be a different kind of insurance that I will have to get.
Check with organizations like ASSP. I know AIHA used to work with a carrier to offer LI for consultants who were members. I believe they still do.
