Best CSP prep course?
Hello everyone! I'm trying to purchase the best remote prep course available for the CSP. My brother who is also in the field swears by the ASSP in person one, however given the coronavirus I am not going out superfluously. However, I am torn between the remote one offered by the ASSP that is proctored by a professor, and the one that is self-paced with modules. The latter seems to have the edge given the no rush environment and not reliant upon good internet connection or power outages.
If you guys had experience with the ASSP courses or the BCSP courses to prepare? If so what's your recommendation?

I am interested to hear from others, as I plan to sit for the CSP next year. For what it is worth, I have heard great things about Bowen EHS but I have not used them yet. They offer ASP, CSP, CIH, and CHMM review courses.
I've used Bowen and they're pretty good and cover a lot of topics. The class is set at a good pace and the instructors are very helpful and explain topics clearly. Most helpful was the vault of practice questions though, however, in my opinion, the practice questions offered by Bowen were a bit easier than the questions I encountered when I sat for the CSP. The practice exam offered by BCSP was more like how the real exam was. While not necessary, I figured it was something worth purchasing to get an additional gauge on my performance. I also heard great things about SPAN but never used them myself.

I took the ASP prep class 2 years ago from ASSP in person and it helped me pass the ASP FOR SURE. It was very great. For the CSP, I had the SPAN books and those helped me pass the CSP. The pocket prep app s aren't very good for preparing but they do have good refreshers on safety info.
If Span has continued on as they were they are the best. Each of the teachers would actually take the Current CSP exam yearly to see what challenges were in the exam and then formulate a study guide based on up to date information.

I ended up buying the ASSP self-paced one, comes with the textbook that was a big selling point. Plus it's not crammed into three days, that's pros and cons if you're up procrastinator lol. I will let everyone know how it goes, I'm finishing up my 30-hour on a click safety been jumping into the exam prep.
On a side, for those of you who've taken the CSP recently, do they post the formulas in the same question for those that require a formula (IE coefficient of friction)? I know that years ago you had to make a formula sheet but I don't think they do that anymore. Anyone?
The Davis Yates book is a must and it is even recommended by BCSP for the CSP.
