ASP Study Materials
Happy Friday Safety Knights! I am planning to move forward in pursuing the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Certification. I sent a proposal to my manager today that outlined cost including the optional training materials.
For those of you that have obtained the ASP, CSP, etc. are the exam bundle and ExamCORE options worth it? Or did you find better value in other study materials?

Personally, I like the examCORE. I didn't use it myself when I took the ASP (or CSP), but I did help create it when it first came out, so I got to see all that went into it, including super-knowledgeable guest speakers, numerous exercises incorporated into it, the questions that were chosen, videos, etc. It has 44 modules, 20 hours of video training, over 1,000 practice questions (with answers), and is based directly on the latest ASP blueprint. You can access it for up to 6 months or until you pass your ASP exam, whichever is sooner. However, if you fail the exam, you can get access to examCORE for another 6 months for free.
It is a bit more expensive than others ($999), but I've heard lots of feedback of people passing on the first try after using examCORE. From what I've heard, it's updated more regularly than some of the other prep materials.

I have had a couple colleagues recently pass either ASP or CSP & have used resources from Pocket Prep, Bowen EHS & utilizing Safety Professional's Reference & Study Guide from David Yates.
